Synopsis
The lives of children living in rural areas of India are in a total chaos. As elementary education is the foundation of knowledge, about 20% children of 6 – 14 ages are not able to get the education due to many hurdles coming in their way (i.e. lack of funds or less no. of primary schools).
Primary education is very significant part of the childhood hence it is also essential to make this phase of education truly enlightening for children.
The story would be told through a short animation.
Story
It was a sunny but windy day and there was a kid about 10 years old sitting on a rock placed in the center of a garden. His clothes were badly ripped and his face looked a bit cheerless.
After a while there came a kite (that denotes education) with a broken string and falls in front of him. He got up from the rock and moved towards the kite. Soon he reached near the kite stared it for a while. As he bends over, a gentle wind hits the kit and the kite starts to fly again. Seeing the kite fly away, He becomes anxious and started running after the kite.
After flying for a while, the kite gets itself stuck on the top of a huge tree, and the kid gazed the kite standing below the tree. He started climbing up the tree crossing all the hurdles (i.e. lack of funds or less no. of primary schools) in his way to fetch the kite.
At last he reaches at the top of the tree with the kite in his hands.
Character Development
